Multilingual Learner and English Learner Curriculum
Disclaimer: Westbrook Public Schools piloted new curriculum maps for Multilingual Learners (ML) and English Learners (EL) during the 2024 – 2025 school year. The full curriculum for grades 6 – 12 was developed in the summer of 2025 and grades PreK - 5 is under development during the summer of 2026. Elementary School
Full Curriculum and Curriculum Maps Implemented in the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year
Disclaimer: The Daisy Ingraham Elementary School Multilingual Learner (MLL) curriculum was finalized on August 31, 2026. The curriculum will be implemented during the 2026 - 2027 academic year and will continue to be reviewed and refined based on student needs, teacher feedback, and district priorities.

Disclaimer: Daisy Ingraham Elementary School completed a curriculum mapping project for its Multilingual Learner and English Learner curriculum, with all documents finalized on August 26, 2024. Thereafter, the newcomer curriculum map was completed on September 9, 2024. These maps were piloted during the 2024-2025 and 2025 - 2026 school years, with the full curriculum development scheduled for the summer of 2026.

Middle School
Disclaimer: Westbrook Middle School completed a comprehensive mapping project for its Multilingual Learner (ML) and English Learner (EL) curriculum, with initial documents finalized in August 2024. These curriculum maps were piloted during the 2024–2025 school year. The full Newcomer ESL Curriculum was completed on July 28, 2025 and Grades 6, 7, and 8 were completed on August 18, 2025. Full implementation is scheduled moving forward during the 2025 - 2026 school year.

High School
Disclaimer: Westbrook High School conducted a comprehensive curriculum mapping project for its Multilingual Learner (ML) and English Learner (EL) programs. The initial curriculum maps were finalized in August 2024 and were piloted during the 2024–2025 school year. The Intermediate ESL Curriculum was completed on July 28, 2025, the Advanced ESL Curriculum was finalized on September 29, 2025, and the ESL Support Curriculum was developed on November 3, 2025. Each are written with full implementation occurring in the 2025 - 2026 academic year.
