Increasing Educator Diversity
Vision |
To ensure all students in Westbrook Public Schools have access to an educational experience that includes educators from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to best support a diverse community of learners. |
Theory of Action |
If Westbrook Public Schools establishes an educator pathways experience for all students and a language support plan for paraprofessionals and community members, then we will increase the number of educators who will expand the diversity of our Westbrook Public Schools educator workforce to best support all students in Westbrook and further invest in the future of our Town and school community. This theory of action aligns with the Westbrook Public Schools Commitment to All Students approved by the Westbrook Board of Education in February 2023. |
